Anna Margaretha Janssen Thomssen was born July 20, 1834 in Firrel, Ostfriesland, Germany. She died November 10, 1911 in Lammertsfehn, Ostfriesland, Germany.
Anna was the mother of Lena Klover.
She was a midwife for 40 years.
She married Gert Jacobs Clover in 1855.
Her mother was Antje Harrms Schlachter and her father was Jann Thomsen Thomsen.
This picture was a gift from Oma (Lena, Joyce’s great grandmother) to her parents, Anna and Gerd, on their 50th anniversary. In 1952, Oma wrote a letter to Lena (Joyce’s grandmother) explaining that the picture now belongs to her, so when Lena visited Germany in 1958, the letter and picture were given to her to take home to the US.

This was a 50th anniversary gift to Gert and Anna in 1905.
