Charles Zink was born November 27, 1856 in Baltimore City to John and Barbara Zink. He was one of four children. He worked in Baltimore as a Potter.
He married Margaret Seifert (born April 11, 1863) on January 11, 1885. This was her second marriage.
The 1870 Census records show Charles’ address as 243 S. Broadway in Baltimore. His occupation was a clerk, most likely in the store owned by his father, Charles.
Margaret’s first marriage was to a man with the last name of Williams.They had one son, Walter H. Williams (born December 24, 1883 and died July 20, 1946). Walter H. married Laura Wille and they had a son, Walter C. Williams. Walter C. married a woman named Ruth and they had five children: Charles W. Williams, Naomi Laura Faby, Marleen Heinbuch, Gloria and Walter C. Williams, Jr.
In 1885 he married the widow Margaret (Seifert) Williams.

Charles passed away on December 9, 1925 at age 69.
He was buried at Evangelist Lutheran Cemetery in Baltimore City, Section R, Lot 24.
